TechXtend an IT solution provider specializing in the areas of cloud, security, virtualization, disaster recovery, and data center infrastructure, is seeking to fill a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Specialist position. The primary business objective is to accelerate the adoption of Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) subscriptions in our developer customer base.

The role is to accelerate our end user sign-ups and CSP revenues by:

  • Working with account managers to assist them in growing CSP business within existing strategic accounts.
  • Finding, understanding, and nurturing opportunities from within the existing customer base and new prospects.
  • Working with the Microsoft Alliance Manager to develop your knowledge and ability to successfully position our value proposition and Microsoft partnership to our customers.

To ensure success we must provide the very best customer experience. We support our salespeople and Sales Specialist’s by providing them with training and access to the services, processes, systems, and resources they require to succeed. You will be focused on enabling our customers to adopt and consume Microsoft cloud solutions and our service by offering great advice and positioning services to help us exceed our Microsoft CSP Targets.

Your role will include but is not limited to:

  • Lead the initial engagement with potential CSP partners and end users, explaining the benefits of working with us, understanding their own technical and business roadmaps, and matching our solutions with their needs.
  • Manage the opportunity from sign up, handholding throughout the set-up process and handover to an internal account manager. Keeping in touch with the account to help grow consumption.
  • Support the Microsoft Alliance Manager to deliver CSP growth by providing expert assistance to Account Managers.
  • Work closely with our services team to ensure we are delivering the right services and solutions to assist each customer’s move to Microsoft cloud solutions.
  • Build effective partnerships with other key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist colleagues when they are under pressure to meet the individual team and company goals.

  • Successful Microsoft Cloud sales experience
  • Driven approach to achieve targets.
  • A desire to achieve the best in everything you do with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Communicate with clarity and confidence in person and in writing.
  • Customer focused and excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and influence, lead, manage, inspire, and motivate people across all levels.
  • Very commercially aware with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft CSP and related services
  • Excellent project management and presentation skills
