Mapping Team Business Development Manager

About the role:

You will be managing your own workload with great attention to detail, efficiency, and accuracy. You will be working collaboratively with our Territory Account Managers and others in the Mapping department to help support each other’s workload when required. You will be self-motivated and driven with the aim of hitting individual and team targets. Day-to-day, you will be working with potential and existing customers to help them understand the benefits of using location data within their applications and of working with TechXtend.

Your role will include but is not limited to:

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new opportunities.
  • End to end case management.
  • Manage Deal pipeline and reporting.
  • Follow up Quotes and Opportunities by phone or email.
  • Complete documentation required in the sales process.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns, escalating when necessary.
  • Handle any other queries in relation to opportunities and orders.

About you:

  • You will have at least two years of business-to-business sales experience selling Mapping solutions.

Other skills we are ideally looking for:

  • Must be an excellent communicator, over the phone, written and face to face.
  • A self-motivated, driven character with the ability to show initiative and good entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Attention to detail, efficiency, accuracy in reports and customer communication and dialogue.
  • Must be adept in use of Microsoft Office.
  • A keen business mind with the ability to spot opportunities and execute on new business plans.
